Hey! I’m Becky, a professional word-wrangler in the wild, wild west.
I started this blog to share my everyday adventures in the outdoors —and, hopefully, to inspire others along the way.
I haven’t always been “outdoorsy.” I took my first overnight backpacking trip in 2016! Since then, I’ve been hiking, camping, and backpacking in more than 30 states, 10 countries, and 30+ National Parks, usually with my rescue pup Juno and my SUV-turned-camper Ruby Sue the Subaru.
In 2018 I quit my 9-5 job as a copywriter to become a full-time freelancer. I’m learning a lot and loving ever minute. (Well, most of them!)
I’m excited to get back to blogging after a few years away. I plan to share stories and photos of my adventures on the road, helpful gear reviews and packing lists, and honest dispatches from the trenches of building my own business.
